This lot at Jack and Jill Food Center in Watford City, North Dakota needed the full treatment - crack sealing, sealcoating, and fresh line striping. Cracks that go untreated let water work its way into the base, and in a North Dakota climate, that means freeze-thaw damage that compounds fast. Getting ahead of it with proper crack sealing is the first step to actually protecting the investment.

Once the cracks were addressed, we laid down a full sealcoat across the entire lot. The difference is hard to miss. What was a worn, faded surface came out deep black and uniform - sealed up tight against moisture, UV damage, and daily wear from traffic.

Then came the line striping. Clean, sharp parking stall lines, a clearly marked loading zone, and a properly painted ADA-compliant handicap stall with the full blue box. Everything a busy commercial lot needs to stay organized and up to code. The yellow lines pop against the dark sealcoat and make the whole lot easier to navigate for customers.

A lot like this sees heavy daily traffic. When the pavement looks sharp, it reflects well on the business. When it's cracked and faded, it doesn't. It's really that simple. Sealcoating and line striping aren't just about appearance though - they're about protecting the asphalt underneath and pushing back the timeline on expensive repairs or full replacement.

We handle commercial lots of all sizes, and this kind of full-service approach - crack seal, sealcoat, stripe - is the right way to get the most out of existing pavement. Done right, it adds years to the life of the lot.
